Women’s Foursomes Championships

Qualifying

Two qualifying rounds of Stroke play. Four pairs to qualify in each grade, followed by
Match Play – semi-final and final rounds. Club competition to be held on the Tuesday
qualifying day will be a Stableford round at the rear of the field for both 18 & 9 hole
competition.

Grades (playing handicaps)

A Grade 0 – 21
B Grade 22 – 30
C Grade 31 – 45+

Final Rounds

A Grade 27 holes
B Grade 18 holes
C Grade 18 holes

Handicap determines grade.

Both players must play in the same grade. Exceptions at Captains discretion. i.e., a player
in B Grade can play in A Grade, however, they cannot go down a grade and play in C Grade.
The players will play off their official handicap on the day.
After the closing date, if necessary, a substitute partner may be named and will be accepted
following payment of another entry fee.
Whatever the handicap is on the day of entry determines the grade. Once entered, players
will stay in their grade regardless of any alterations to handicaps.
If the week is unable to be completed, or part thereof, the Match Committee will arrange
alternative dates for the completion, but before closing day of the current season.

Order of Play

No special requests from players requesting to play at a specific time will be accepted. No
late entries will be accepted (or at Captain’s discretion).
Players must nominate odd or even tees for first day of play.
Players on the second day must play off the alternative tee they used on the first day.
Players may change order of play during semi-finals and finals match play if they wish.
