Junior Golf
The Vines Golf Club of Reynella – which hosted the Australian Junior Amateur Championship in 2022 – is a great place for boys and girls to learn to play golf. As a club, The Vines is proud of its investment in and commitment to Junior Golf, which is illustrated by its thriving junior section.
While the club’s coaching team ensures all juniors harness their natural talent and develop to their full potential, one of the primary focuses is to engender a lifelong love of golf in the younger generation.
Some juniors may go on to play golf seriously and at an elite level; others may play socially or casually. All are equally welcome at The Vines Golf Club of Reynella and receive the same level of encouragement to reach their goals, whatever they may be.
The club is a supporter of MyGolf, Australia’s national junior introductory program to develop and promote participation in golf.
The club offers MyGolf term-based sessions and Saturday morning lessons during the school term. Each child is taught the basics, so they have the foundations in place to be able to go on and enjoy a lifetime’s good golf. Coaching is designed to provide children with the opportunity to have fun, improve their game and technique, build friendships, and introduce them to competitive golf.
Junior Membership
Junior golf memberships at The Vines are offered at extremely attractive rates and open up a range of additional benefits.
The club, in association with Air Diffusion Agencies, is also offering 50 FREE 12-month Junior Golf Foundation memberships which provides a range of benefits for aspiring junior golfers including professional coaching and access to all facilities. Contact the club for more details.
The club fields a team in the Junior pennant, and another in the McMillan Shield, which is a handicap match play competition for juniors under the age of 18 who ideally have not previously played pennant.
