Don’t worry if you have never hosted a golf day before, experienced staff can advise on the appropriate game and handicapping procedures and take care of as many of the logistics as required, leaving golf day hosts to concentrate on their invited guests and achieving their aims for the event.
If a little friendly competition is the order of the day, nearest the pin and longest drive markers can be supplied and the Pro Shop has a range of items that make great prizes.
When the golf is over, relive the day over a drink and food of your choice in the clubhouse. Choose from a package, or come to The Vines with your food and beverage requirements and the club will do its very best to accommodate.
Remember, too, the clubhouse makes a great venue for a meeting or conference, with a range of AV equipment available, on-site bar and catering facilities.

Visitors, Social Golf and Sevens
Visitors are always welcome at The Vines Golf Club of Reynella, with social golf available most days. Available times for social players will vary depending on the club’s competition schedule or other organised events such as golf days, so it is always advisable to phone the Pro Shop and book ahead to avoid a wasted trip.
An even more convenient way is to register for free online as a public member and book your tee-time through the club website. Public bookings click here.
Choose your day and view the available tee times, select the number of players by clicking on “Available” at the time required and make your booking.
The Vines has excellent golf facilities. The wonderful, highly-rated course provides the perfect challenge for any player, no matter what their level of expertise. After their round, visitors are welcome to stay for a refreshing drink and a tasty snack in the Members’ Lounge.
The club hosts a number of Come ‘n’ Try golf days for all sections of the community and welcomes enquiries from visiting groups.
During Daylight Savings, The Vines runs very popular Twilight Golf evening competitions. Non-members are particularly welcome as individuals or small or large groups and special playing fees are available after 5pm.
In summer, there is also an equally popular nine-hole social golf event called Sevens, which is played by teams of 7 in a round-robin competition running from Monday to Sunday. See the club website for more details.
